WTW Names Mark Vila Head Of Corporate Risk & Broking, Midwest
Scot Housh, who intends to retire at the end of 2022, has been replaced as the Head of Corporate Risk & Broking for the US Midwest region by Mark Vila, according to a global advice, broking, and solutions company, WTW.

Vila started his WTW career more than 24 years ago at the Milwaukee office, and he is currently the CRB Leader for the Great Lakes region in the Midwest.
Vila was appointed Head of CRB Chicago in 2017 and soon after expanded his responsibilities to supervise the company’s operations in Wisconsin and Michigan as part of a combined “Great Lakes Partnership,” placing more than half of WTW’s Midwest operations under his direction.
The company states that with strong client and colleague relationships, Vila will continue to enhance WTW’s geographic footprint while further differentiating the company’s industry specialization in the region.

WTW also notes that soon-to-retire Scot Housh has been a company leader for two and a half decades, developing a superb reputation throughout the market and within the company, serving as a producer, team leader, Minnesota office lead, and geography leader for Minnesota before taking his current Midwest region management role in 2016.
The firm adds that as a natural sales leader, Housh delivered outstanding revenue growth throughout his time with WTW.

Michael Chang, Head of CRB North America, WTW, commented, “Mark is the perfect fit for his new Midwest regional leadership role, having delivered great results in his various company roles throughout his time at WTW.
“Scot will be missed, and I wish him the very best in retirement. Both Mark and Scot are working closely together to ensure a smooth transition.”
This announcement comes at a time of transformation for WTW, having recently appointed Nancy Korcinsky as Head of Corporate Risk & Broking for the Southeast region in the US, replacing Doug Pera, who will also retire at the end of 2022, having joined the company in 2009.
