TransRe Promotes Jim Crutchley To Global Fac Leader
Jim Crutchley has been appointed to the newly created position of Global Facultative Leader at reinsurer TransRe, which is owned entirely by Alleghany Corporation. He will report to Paul McKeon, President, Regional Business Units.
To create and oversee the US Facultative Casualty team, Crutchley initially joined the company in 2015. The team has “consistently and profitably” grown its book since its inception.
Crutchley’s new position sees him in charge of the company’s global book of facultative business and its strategic direction.

Along with streamlining operations and accelerating data and analytics around market changes and claims trends, he will collaborate with TransRe’s regional fac teams and global product leaders to both identify and implement market opportunities.
