Steve Warwick Joins Guy Carpenter As Managing Director

Steve Warwick joined as Managing Director, GC Access Asia Pacific at reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter.

The MGA Solutions Specialty Practice at Guy Carpenter is known as GC Access, and it is responsible for effectively matching managing general agents (MGAs) with carriers through the use of its knowledge, analytical talents, worldwide reach, and extensive network of insurer and reinsurer partnerships.

Warwick has extensive expertise as a CEO, particularly in the field of insurance.

Experienced in all aspects of the insurance industry, including working with brokers, risk assessment, and management.

His previous position was Executive Director, Head of Treaty Asia Pacific at Howden Tiger, where he now works.

Steve Warwick Joins Guy Carpenter As Managing Director

Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Reinsurance, Asia Pacific at International Insurance and reinsurance broker, RFIB.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Managing Director at Guy Carpenter!,” Warwick said.

He started his career with Aon in 1980, where he held a number of senior positions.

In 2016, he left Aon Benfield, the reinsurance arm of Aon, to become the co-founder of Nine Merchants Re, a Hong Kong-based reinsurer.
