LMA Appoints Three Senior Market Leaders To Its Board
Three senior industry executives have been appointed to the Board of the Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA).

The three new board members are Richard Milner, CEO of Aspen Insurance UK Ltd. and Aspen Managing Agency Ltd., Jane Warren, Chief Underwriting Officer of Liberty Specialty Markets, and Alex Powell, CEO of AEGIS London.
Warren has worked in this field for more than 20 years. She has worked for a number of companies during the course of her career, including ACE Group, where she was Head of Underwriting Operations for ACE Global Markets and ACE European Group,
She has also held a variety of positions at AXIS Specialty Europe, including those of Chief Operating Officer, Head of International Operations, and Head of International Distribution Strategy and Broker Management.

Moreover, Powell has over twenty-five years of industry experience. He began his career as a Deputy Underwriter – Non-Marine Property at Janson Green. He then joined AEGIS London in 2000, where he would go on to serve as Head of Non-Marine Property, War & Terrorism for twenty-two years, before being promoted to CEO earlier this year.
Furthermore, Milner has over twenty-five years of experience across a number of global re/insurance markets, including London, Bermuda, and Singapore. Previously he has served in various leadership roles at AXIS Capital, PXRE Reinsurance Ltd., and Vibe Syndicate Management Ltd.

In addition to the three new appointments, LMA has announced that Sheel Sawhney, Group Head of Claims and Operations, Brit, who joined the Board earlier in the year to deputize for Matthew Wilson, is now a Board member.
At the same time, LMA also announced that Matthew Wilson, Matthew Moore, Emma Woolley, and David Croom-Johnson have stepped down from the Board.
