Kobe Bryant’s Final Game Piece Sold For $800K

The number 8, one of the two uniform numbers Bryant wore throughout his NBA career, is featured on the autographed piece of flooring. On April 13, 2016, Bryant signed the floor after his illustrious final game, in which he scored 60 points.

Rally purchases collectibles — ranging from vintage cards to sports memorabilia — and sells shares to the public, similar to how the IPO of a private company works. It also exits investments, similar to how public companies get sold.

The piece of game floor was the 43rd collectible sold through Rally.

Although there is some weakening in the collections market, the most distinctive items with the most interesting stories continue to be sought after. Michael Jordan’s game-used shoes were recently sold by Rally for a record-breaking $92,000.

Bryant’s signature Nike sneakers are still worn by many NBA players. He and his daughter Gianna died in a January 2020 helicopter crash.
