According to its website, Crawford & Company is the largest publicly traded independent provider of claims management and outsourcing services to carriers, brokers, and businesses in the world.

According to the statement, Crawford’s incident response platform and contractual vendor network will be available to Generali’s clients—corporate and SMEs—around the world 24/7 as a result of this agreement.

Crawford’s qualified incident managers will help insureds navigate through the complexities of a cyber incident from start to finish, offering access to a global network of crisis management service providers.

Crawford’s specialist expertise and experience support the Insured in mitigating the cyber incident to include containment, investigation, and recovery phases through to the resolution of the claim, the firm added.

Current and future policyholders who purchase Generali’s integrated insurance solutions for cyber risk management and incident response will have access to Crawford’s incident response platform.
