Everest Insurance Appoints Paul Trueman As Head of Aviation

Paul Trueman has been hired as the newly created position of Head of Aviation for Everest Insurance, the main division of Everest Re Group.

In his new position, Trueman will handle underwriting, market engagement, and treaty purchasing for the company’s international aviation clients globally. He will also serve as the portfolio leader for Airlines, Aerospace, and General Aviation.

He will be reporting to Jason Keen, co-lead of Everest Insurance International, and brings with him more than 15 years of in-depth sector and industry knowledge.

Trueman joins the firm from Global Aerospace Underwriting Managers, where he most recently held the role of Underwriting Manager and was in charge of managing market-leading offers for customers and brokers as well as the underwriting strategy for the company’s airline portfolio.

He previously held the position of Head of Aviation & Space at ACR. He was in charge of managing the underwriting for the general aviation, aerospace products and airports, airline, and space segments of the worldwide portfolio. ALso, he has worked as an underwriter for Catlin and AIG in the Asia Pacific region.
