AXA XL Appoints Cedric Franklin As Regional Director Of Commercial Bonds
To meet the ongoing demand for Commercial Bonds from businesses in the nation, AXA XL has appointed Cedric Franklin as VP Regional Director, Canada.
Pat Dougherty, the global head of commercial bonds, and Alex Barker, the head of specialty insurance for Canada, will collaborate closely with Franklin.

Through direct collaboration with Canadian clients and their brokers, he is charged with directing the country’s continuous expansion of the Commercial Bonds market.
Commenting on the appointment, Alex Barker, Head of Specialty, Canada, said, “Cedric is an expert in his field and an excellent addition to our team of talented specialty insurance leaders.”

Franklin comes to us from BFL Canada, where he was Vice President, Surety. He holds a Civil Law degree from the University of Ottawa, an MBA from the Grande École E.M. Grenoble in France, and a Master’s degree in International & European Relations from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
