The company announced that Haynes, who is based in London, will assume the position with immediate effect and report to Heath Callan, the company’s head of energy and marine insurance.
Callan said: “It’s been a challenging period for global energy and marine industries. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine, navigating energy transitions, and the evolving concerns surrounding Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) continue to challenge the energy sector – while the lingering impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent supply chain disruption, port congestion, and crew issues have posed challenges in the marine industry. The constantly changing environment will bring new risk challenges in 2023.”
